The Tri-Elmar is a very good lens and is useful for situations you need be quick and or you need a certain comfort for reduced equipment, but for me has two inconvenients: It is limited at F4, for me is a big inconvenient because I should always carry a complementary more luminous lens, a 35 or a 50 with at least f2. The second aspect I don't like very much is that you should be careful to don't toch the f stop ring, it moves very easy, finally there is another point for me, I preefer go with my 35mm Summicron, much more smaller and compact than the Tri-Elmar, even so the quality if this one is excellent. Thanks to have a look and a comment to my pictures! Pictures look a little dark. But I have two favorites, the girl leaning against the building and the youngster reading the book. I didn't know you had a Tri-Elmar. How do you like it?
