By the way, someone else had asked where in NC 18Man in Doorway was taken. It was taken in Asheville, on the same street that houses the public library, and not far from the Basilica. The man is sitting in the entrance to what used to be a Woolworth store that was being renovated. Also, another person commented on the "color" of the photos. Before they're scanned, the prints are pure black and white with shades of gray. But after I scan them, the prints look as if they've been toned with selenium toner. Frankly, I prefer the pure B/W but, because a third grader knows more about computers than I do, I don't know how to counteract the effects of my scanner. Again, thanks to all. Cheers, Hank Kellner Hugh Thompson <hewthompson@mac.com> wrote: Hank - I really like "18Man in Doorway": > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/hankpix/Album+7/18Man+in+Doorway > +NC.jpg.html he is in just the right position, against the black background Hugh On 8-Jan-07, at 11:48 AM, Hank Kellner wrote: > Hello Everyone, > I have posted three more photos at http://gallery.leica- > users.org/v/hankpix/Album+7/.
