I think this is true: I like the old shutter, but really, it was not "silent". There have been many churches where the cloth shutter has sent a small echo whirring around the ailses ;-) The quietest cameras I have used are the Rollei's (before the GX, whose shutter has a dreadful "ping" noise to it) and p & s digitials including the Digilux 1. I would like to "delay" the advance noise of the M8 however. Cheers Alastair
