He told me the SF24D works on the M8 in TTL mode. What I don't know is if Leica uses a separate flash sensor on the M8 as they do on the M7 and measure the light off of the shutter curtain. This is what leica says about TTL and the m8 without explaining anything. I'll do more research. The new M-TTL flash technology ensures natural flash illumination through the activation of a metering pre-flash. The auto slow sync. function now allows available light exposures without camera shake in aperture priority mode combined with a natural fill-in flash.
