It was quite big (not surprising given the format), but I also thought it felt a bit plasticky. And I found the fixed, 5.6/65mm lens too limiting. The Bronica feels much more like a Leica, in terms of size, build quality and handling. The viewfinder is good, the rangefinder is precise (based on the 4 rolls I have shot so far) and easy to use, and the 6x4.5 format is a good compromise--it is still medium format, but when I load a roll of 220 Tri-X, I have 32 pictures per roll, quite close to 35mm. Lens choice for the Bronica is limited--I have 2 of the 3 lenses available, a 45mm and 65mm. There is also a 100mm which is rare and expensive. But at least there is some lens choice, 3 possible lenses is better than one. On the bright side, the relative absence of accessories also serves to protect one's wallet :-) Cheers, Nathan leo wesson wrote: > Hey Nathan, > > When you got your Bronica, did you look also at Fuji's? > > Leo > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > -- Nathan Wajsman Almere, The Netherlands Opportunistic Image Acquisition General photography: http://www.nathanfoto.com and http://www.greatpix.eu Picture-A-Week: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Seville photography: http://www.fotosevilla.com Stock photography: http://www.alamy.com/search-results.asp?qt=wajsman http://myloupe.com/home/found_photographer.php?photographer=507 Prints for sale: http://www.photodeluge.com Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog SUPPORT FREEDOM OF SPEECH, BUY DANISH PRODUCTS!
