On the public playgrounds here the mothers will yell at you or even call the 
police when you start making pictures of their kids, regardless which camera 
model you use.

It's true the Leica's are discreeter in many situation. But my boys, 6 and 8 
yrs old, asked me why I have only "such a small camera" as their friend's 
fathers have "much bigger ones". 

Anyone here can borrow me his "menacing" Canon gear for the next boy's 
party? :-)
