I think that these lenses are on their best between 5.6 and 8 or ...11, I remember very good results with my old Rigid even at 2.8, but always I should avoid shot against the minimal source of light, as you say these lenses are very sensibles to flare, on the next days I want to show more examples to analyze. Thanks for looking and commenting, Saludos cordiales Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Leonard Taupier Enviado el: lunes, 27 de noviembre de 2006 1:13 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: Re: [Leica] First test Summicron Collapsible Luis, Perfect. I like the look. I think this was what you were looking for. I think you need a lens hood for #4. I found this lens flares easily as well so care must be taken. I found the rigid to be better below f8. Edwin says the design is different between the two and the rigid is improved. I think your collapsible looks better then mine. Mine is a little hazy and very soft up to f5.6.
