76 characters is the default I think, but 132 is the maximum AFAIK and worth 
setting.
I got this from a friend who is an ex Microsoft consultant a while back on 
the broken URL issue.
132 characters is a pretty long link. I think that Brian has now posted the 
clearest explanation and workaround.
I use tinyurl, <>, and not expect links to work in replies. I also seek to 
shorten the URL by renaming the file, too before posting
to the gallery.
I figure that's everything possible to help!

Outlook 2003 only allows for line widths of up to 132 characters.  ( using 
Word as my Email word processor)

Is there a trick for getting past 132?
