Showing my manual lens mind set (and some Photoshop) here! -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Lottermoser George Sent: Friday, 17 November 2006 09:30 To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] PAWeek 44 I'm assuming that you're referring to the dog photo when you mention the "lens baby." Actually that image was made while testing a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS L USM with a 2x extender. The IS has two settings 1 for general use and 2 for panning shots. The 2 setting only stabilizes for vertical motion (if you're panning horizontally) or visa versa if panning vertically. In any event it seems to work fairly well. The lens is way too big, heavy and auto for my taste. But I'm still testing.
