That's what I thought compared with my MP. I didn't find it difficult at all to focus, on the contrary: bigger contrast at the borders of the focusing area. So conclusion of doc Phil: you have no loss of image reception (neurogical), but a lens or eyepressure problem (physical). Physical can be treated, neurogical is a whole lot more complicated.
