Steve, I don't know nothing about digital, but when I read something like
that "software to correct lenses", I'm sorry, this not belong to my
"mechanical and chemical" mentality.

  I have heard speculation that the coding might aid software  
correction for various lenses... don't know if this is true... but  
Leica ought to be clear about what it does and what it might  
eventually do...Steve
