I'm hazy on "tout ensemble" sounds like my children's school musical group. Give Pookie a scratch behind the ear for me. Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of SonC@aol.com Sent: Friday, 27 October 2006 10:02 To: lug@leica-users.org Subject: [Leica] Yellow Friday flowers Today's flowers are simple. I found them in a planter in front of the Rapides Learning Center where my sweetie goes to do her Nursing Lectures. (Kathy grows new nurses for you people.) When I saw these little pretties, I thought they needed recognition. They must get enough attention to grow, but I'm sure most people in that place don't give them a glance; they're part of the "tout ensemble." There's a range of flower life in this shot, and while some are young and beautiful, others are at their prime, and some on the way out. I'm posting early because I am selling my late parents' house today. It is bittersweet, but it was not a house I grew up in. My kids mostly only remember it as the only "Grandma-grandpa house." Anyhow, as I post this, I am sitting with my laptop on one knee, and Pookie the Cat on the other, Life is good. I wish you pretty yellow flowers. Look around. They are all around you. http://www.sonc.com/friday_october_27_2006.htm Regards, Sonny http://www.sonc.com Natchitoches, Louisiana Oldest continuous settlement in La Louisiane ?galit?, libert?, crawfish _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
