If the M8 handles like a classic M, and from all reports it sounds like it does, I'm sold. The most interesting thing I read in Dave's blog was that he might buy a Mac just to use Apple's software. Is computer hardware becoming so inexpensive that it makes sense to buy a system simply for an application? Or can an application be so good that it justifies the cost of a different system? -----Original Message----- From: Steve Barbour [mailto:kididdoc@cox.net] Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2006 6:14 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] M8 Photokina Report (+ smidge on ZI and CV) **WITHCORRECT URL LINK** On Sep 26, 2006, at 3:06 PM, David Keenan wrote: > I have just blogged both words and pictures this evening from Cologne > reporting on my first afternoon at Photokina. > > I have much to say about the M8, R-D1, and just a smidge on Zeiss > Ikon and > Cosina/Voigtlander. > > Travel to my blog to read and see <http://www.david-keenan.com/ > euroblog>. > > Please comment here in this thread for others to read if you are so > inclined.
