The Canon 1D2 I have has lots of features, but I do not feel they get in my way. I have set up the camera the way I like it, and hardly ever change any settings except the aperture (I shoot mostly in aperture-priority) and ISO. Occasionally I put the camera on manual in which case I obviously adjust shutter speed as well. The way I use this camera it is no more complicated to operate than a film camera, except that changing film type is replaced by pressing two buttons and turning a wheel.
