Of all people he should know that in the digital world the firmware is as crucial as the glass - if not more so! Get some bits and bytes mixed up and there's no end of damage that can happen. Sorta like mixing color and black and white developers "cause it was handy". I'm glad people have worked hard NOT to show images but I'll be eager to see the first ones with production firmware. If the DMR results are to be used as a standard I have VERY high hopes and expectations.
