I occasionally visit nearby Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. It's interesting historically and very evocative. One Sunday last spring I attempted to capture the mood this place evokes in me. These shots are not manipulated, except to colorize them slightly to mimic the "carbon" ink printing I've employed for them. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/crgrbrts/Harpers_Ferry/ Harper's Ferry is not quite as chilling as Gettysburg, Pennsylvania -- but it's close.
