What I noted was very prominent bands of single tone dots for some tones, around the edge of a face, for example. So I can only suggest please ignore my comment. I can't work out what is different now. I can only think that I have browsed through another gallery as well, while looking at these. Sorry guys. As Brian said, they are lovely images Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Brian Reid Sent: Friday, 1 September 2006 22:23 To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] first tries with a 1:2/75mm/Resizing I'm not quite sure what's up here, but (a) there is no size limit for pictures in the gallery (b) When you upload a picture, it makes intermediate size copies at 640, 1280, and 2500 if your image is bigger than those sizes (c) I don't see any particular posterization in any of these lovely images. Can you tell me where to look? _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
