I was busily buying M gear from them at the time! I got to play with - 3 or 4 M7's, a couple of the 28s, the ZI RF and the new ZI ZF 50 & 85 for the Nikon F mount. So much technolust, so few hands to load film with. They hope to be selling the M8? at a little better than that quoted retail. You have to respect a store that has such a great range of M gear in stock. I've had several very pleasant dealings with them. I never fail to visit when I am in Melbourne. Walked out with an M7 and a very nice Summicron 28 on this occasion. Scanning the first negs as I sit here. I'm just impressed that they have ordered so many. Wonder how many they will get? I would think that they are one of the biggest Leica dealers in Australia? It took all of ten posts to get from M8 to Viagra. On a normal day it'd take three. I thought the news was good. Looks like an M7, quiet shutter, well made, ... hmmm, maybe that explains the lack of excitement - it's just what we expected. I guess that's good. Hoppy, can you pass on which supplier has ordered the 50? Rick.
