I got a refurb unit from Epson (Adorama refused to take back the defective unit), and that refurb lasted all of about 25 prints. Somehow, receiving a refurb voided my warranty for the new one. The local repair place charged me to figure out what was wrong, and then wanted $400 to fix it. One more reason to use BH rather than Adorama. After 5 yrs I think my Epson 2200 threw in the towel. I've tried resuscitating her for 2 weeks now without any vitals. Of course when I purchased her I was told "these printers only last about 2yrs". Well, she gave me thousands of prints and I'll never forget her. Until................................ I went to Comp USA and got the 2400! Shizer, these BW prints are great! Now on to getting some of those new FB like papers. Chris _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
