The 28 and an old camera has two advantages, probably many people don't think it still runs!, I was on a table near the girl, I was looking "distracting" on the VF ... and "click" the silent and warm Leica "click", of course I have estimated focusing and light. Next time you go with me and maybe we have the luck to share two beers with two other ladies with beers. Thanks again for your comments Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de G Hopkinson Enviado el: martes, 25 de julio de 2006 9:28 Para: lug@leica-users.org Asunto: [Leica] RE: RE: RE: Playing with the Hektor 6, 3/2, 8cm & Leica IIIF Hi Luis, sorry I should write more clearly. Firstly I meant that the images looked a little low contrast and with less detail in the darker areas. But I am only seeing little versions on photonet. I understand what you said about the older lens. Many Leica folks prize the look from the older lenses. So I will probably be thrown out of the LUG for commenting! Regarding the second question, I meant that the woman's hands behind the bottle were a little distracting to me in the first photo. But I know this is an un-posed photo. I do prefer the pose and the second woman in the background. I have to try to take some candid photos to learn. Thanks for the inspiration. Also, you have very attractive beer drinkers in Espana. I'm sorry..., but I don't understand your final question. Thanks for looking Saludos desde Barcelona Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de G Hopkinson Enviado el: lunes, 24 de julio de 2006 3:29 Para: lug@leica-users.org Asunto: [Leica] RE: Playing with the Hektor 6, 3/2,8cm & Leica IIIF (Luis Ripoll) Luis, these seem a little flat as reproduced via the small photonet files on my monitor. Do you think this is influenced by the seniority of the glass (uncoated???)The 28mm perspective seems very well managed (ie not objectionable wide angle distortion to my eye). Of the last two, the hand position seems a little distracting in the first? Thanks Hoppy Humble learner opinions -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-b------------------------------ Message: 10 Date: Sun, 23 Jul 2006 23:08:01 +0200 From: "Luis Ripoll" <luisripoll@telefonica.net> Subject: [Leica] Playing with the Hektor 6,3/2,8cm & Leica IIIF To: "'Leica Users Group'" <lug@leica-users.org> Message-ID: <44B377500016E63E@ctsmtpout1.frontal.correo> (added by postmaster@telefonica.net) Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Hi all, saludos!
