The ES-1 is a simple tube that mounts on the 55 micro and is designed use with it back in the days of film <grin>.. It certainly gives good, quick results but is not as good as a dedicated slide scanner. Nikon also made a slide copier for the Coolpix 5000, but it didn't work very well when I tried one that a friend had-very poor resolution and a lot of noise Allen >On Jul 18, 2006, at 5:04 PM, Richard wrote: > >>I've often though this would be a good way to make digital slide >>copies, too, analogous to making them on film.
