Subject: [Leica] Re: Slide copying

I use the Nikon ES-1 + Nikon 55 Micro+PK-13 extension tube on the
D200, with either clear blue sky of a light box as my light source
and it works quite well. The ES-1 is a simple tube that mounts on the
55 micro and is designed use with it back in the days of film
<grin>.. It certainly gives good, quick results but is not as good as
a dedicated slide scanner.

Nikon also made a slide copier for the Coolpix 5000, but it didn't
work very well when I tried one that a friend had-very poor
resolution and a lot of noise
