I think that can be difficult to use unless you are VERY careful with the exposure. That being said I have used it to shoot portraits by candle-light outdoors. Handheld. But then I was using my IIIf with 1.5 Summitar wide-open ;-) The results were more than acceptable given the situation. I've spent a large part of this evening looking for the shot but can't find it. :-( I have even used it with a long exposure indoors at a school play on an f4 9cm LTM Elmar wide-open at 1/15th or thereabouts and produced acceptable results which when scanned only needed PS adjustment via levels to compensate for the slight over-exposure in pushing it 1 stop. However it really all comes down to just how much available darkness there is and I guess how much depth of field you really need. Try it and see, Peter Kenneth Frazier wrote: > > On Jul 16, 2006, at 10:41 PM, Christopher Williams wrote: > >> Tripod and......... >> >> 1 one thousand, 2 one one thousand, 3 one one thousand...... > > > I want a large DOF, shooting with Summicron 35/2, and my concern was > the effect of the long exposure with that film. > > So, I'll bracket and count... :-) > > Ken > ----------------------------------- > The Rev.
