Orson Welles bought the place for Rita Hayworth....It affords an absolutely breathtaking view of the Big Sur coastline. In the late 70's early 80's it was a cool place to hang out...sawdust on hardwood floors, natural foods ala honey and sprouts...Unfortunately it is now very upscale...as in $10 for a side of french fries with your turkey sandwich....There are also several campgrounds...Julia Pfeifer, Big Sur..... I'll be down that way shortly myself...Not Laguna, rather the Gilroy Garlic Festival....
