[Leica] Armed America

Although an interesting story, this portrait is a bit off genre to me.
The power of most of your Armed America series -for me- comes from  
the actual physical contact between the portrayed and the guns. This,  
and the use of a wide lens showing the interior of the gun owners,  
gives a very personal touch to the shots. As if you're looking into  
the lives of these people.
Something that is lacking a bit in this one.

I question that just arises: how do you work for this series? Do you  
ask your subjects to show their arms the way they personally want to  
and where they want to, or do you give them any steering/suggestions?
