Gonzalo,
At least in Atlanta, most traditional hardware stores sell a variety of
chrome split rings that I have used on cameras in the past.  I am not sure I
have ever seen brass ones in the U.S.  Another source is a camera store, a
lot of inexpensive straps come with the rings and sometimes the staff
collect them as most cameras have lugs built in that take the strap and not
a ring.
