I've alwyas thaught that at more high dilutions you can obtain a more compensating effect, but maybe this is against the grain. As said, I've developed at 1:50 and in my opinion is too contrasty. I prefer go back to the ID11. You don't get the "Rodinal effect" at 1:25 to the same degree you do at 1:50. I think Mark Rabiner used to say that anything under 1:100 is for sissies.
