[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]The guy I bought the Le Mans from, when it was only a year old, had had a BMW R100RS fairing painted to match and modified to fit, so I had the choice of the original Bikini Fairing or the BMW one with the clock and voltmeter. It confused the hell out of a BMW rider on the M6 Motorway over here an the day I picked it up. I saw him up ahead and went past him flat out, then as pre arranged with the friend who had given me a lift down to get the bike pulled into the next motorway services. The guy on the BMW follows me in, parks up, runs over thinking it was a new type BMW only to find out what it really was, then asks where he can buy one.
