Take out the elements yourself. A Vivitar, Soligar, Tamron in T mount should be just about dirt cheap, shipping might be more than the lens. Or, check with a local repair service in your area, they have to have junk lenses that they would be happy to part with. In fact, I might have to do just that with some spheres that I have collected over the years, talk about spherical aberration.
