We also pick up the tab for billions in tax breaks and incentives to oil companies, not to mention the billions we spend on military forces to "protect" the supply and governments which produce it. Much of our foreign and military aid goes to propping up lower prices at the pump. I don't think I'm getting my money's worth at the tax pump, but I do feel like I'm getting the hose. Maybe we're getting what we deserve for electing the jerks we do. I know I'm sick of seeing W stickers on two-ton SUVs tailgating my Scion.
