Subject: [Leica] Jeffery PAW - Week 15 - Another lesson from HCB

DOW! I was thinking that the asph 'lux was closer to $3,000. At any rate, it
is much more than I can possibly consider spending on a lens. Paying less
than $2,000 for a 50/1.4 Nikkor + new Nikon S3 seemed (after Leica's huge
price increases) like more of a bargain. Of course, there's that downside
that the aperture ring moves in circles when you focus.

Wait a minute, a 50/1.4 ASPH is ~$2600, you got your S3 with lens for
$1300?!!

The lens is so sharp you can cut steel with it :-)
