Second, there are a lot of state parks between you and your new home that are very beautiful, will have a number of interesting people to photograph, are a great place to walk with a senior dog, and will be very cheap to camp in. Third, travel lighter than you think you should. On the road stuff gets in the way. Good luck and have a fabulous photo safari from the American veldt.
