Douglas,

They are really beginning to look good ...............

I see one problem though ............ the eyes remain dark. Could you  
hang their favorite spot with aluminum foil .............. or use a  
mirror to reflect light ............ or ................? Perhaps  
shooting at dawn and dusk, when the light is lower ............,  
opening up 1/2 a stop.

The 400/4 seems to be the right combination.

Keep at it though.
