Well, I have experience with a whole lot of digital cameras and I can say that while the Olympus interface is understandable, it is one of the harder ones to intuitively grasp. For basic use, the Nikon interface is the easiest to use, followed by the Pentax, followed by the Canon. Kodak's was the worst though. :) By basic use I mean the ability to figure out how to set WB, ISO, metering pattern, basic mode be it manual, aperture, shutter, or some automatic mode, advance S or C, focusing manual S or predictive and whether you want a JPG of some level of compression or RAW without resort to the manual. On the other hand the DMR was extremely easy to sort through, or course focus mode choice was pretty automatic. :) Don don.dory@gmail.com On 4/3/06, B. D.
