Your URL brought up a site selling collectors editions starting at $2500. Yes, there were some not such good condition books at only $145. It is so much fun to complain about the high price of cameras, but $145 for a book to read? But that continues our fascination with single malt scotches, hand built chronographs, and occasionally hand built cameras from Germany. :) Don don.dory@gmail.com On 3/28/06, jon.stanton@comcast.net <jon.stanton@comcast.net> wrote: > > Have you tried Abebooks.com > > Here is a sample: > http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?an=stanislaw+lem&y=4&x=43&sortby=1 > > > > > > > -------------- Original message ---------------------- > From: "Arche, Harvey" <Harvey.Arche@jp2hs.org> > > I've been hearing about Lem for 30 years, and searched for copies of his > books. > > When I found them they were English translations from the French > translations of > > the original Polish, and sorry to say, I couldn't hack reading them.
