Ted, I take your point about both being centered and about out of focus flower in the background. Curiously this is a cropped composition from the one I shot in the field. You'll probably like the original image even less. What I was thinking when I composed this: I didn't want simply to have the blossom floating in space - I wanted context for these tiny flowers and felt that using the out of focus form I would enhance that context. Now in the original I cropped into the picture in the lower left corner a sharp focus piece of another petal - thinking that it would balance the eye motion - okay - a bit arty. I'll post the image tomorrow.
