In fact, the use of the 15 reminds me of > the faddish overuse of the fish eye back when Nikon brought it out for the > F Hi B. D., Your right because people who don't use the lens correctly in area's where it was made to work, they just bang away thinking the picture will look different because it's a 15mm.... ergo.... it will look great because few others shoot with it in every day situations. But just capture bad images! As Michael said, "it happened to be the only lens he had." Therefore in the dining shot I'd have cropped it later to a normal type photograph simply because the 15 didn't do anything for this exposure at all. The 15 and others in this size are great tools when applied to the correct situation because they do make for beautiful photographs with an excellent look to them. However, like I said, too many people think of them purely as a "wide angle" without any thought of the creativity where it does it's best. But that's the fault of the photographer in using the lens correctly. ted > > > On 3/13/06 1:24 PM, "Michiel Fokkema" <michiel.fokkema@wanadoo.nl> wrote: > >> Thanks B.D., >> >> You're probably right about the CV15.
