Meanwhile. I've stumbled on more NO photos that may interest you, or others: http://www.samuelportera.com/gallery/album06 his images are as striking and awful as yours. Hard to think you might not have encountered him in your travels in the city. I think most of these images are 4x5 Ilford (he is on the APUG list).
