The workshops begin with a talk by the MPW director, David Lyman, Sunday evening, and a brief 'howdy' for members of each workshop. The individual workshops start in earnest Monday a.m., and go through Saturday a.m., with a community slide show of work on Friday evening. It's a terrific photo-saturated environment; the food, served under a tent, is - believe it or not - as close to outstanding as can be hoped for, and the local Maine scenery is spectacular. I definitely encourage shooting digitally during the week, but anyone who wants to shoot slide film can - but it will slow you down. If anyone's interested and has questions beyond the material at the URL above, just contact me off-list. B. D.
