From the File Browser, just double-click on any file and it will open in Camera RAW. If it doesn't, then you need to download the appropriate plugin here: https://www.adobe.com/login/login.jsp?currentSection=FTP&next=http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2699 (if using Windows, there is a similar link for Apple) You should not need to mess around with Lightroom Beta or any other add-on.
