Walt - What, a little nausea is a problem??   :-)  I reacted a bit 
along those lines myself initially but came to like the patterns.

I made a strong attempt in PS to get rid of the flare in the one with 
the couple but didn't succeed, at least not in a way I'd be willing 
to show.  My attempts were all done with the clone stamp.  Maybe 
there's a better way.  I do have a version that crops the image 
tightly and has less flare but, at least to me, the uncropped version 
works better.  Have a look:
