Rob,

I bought this lens and a 35/2.8 from a Moscow source a few weeks back. They
are certainly worth the asking price. Came wrapped and tied like a package
from the 1950's.

I was even more impressed with the 85/2 Canon Serenar lens in LTM I received
from a US Fleabay seller a week or so back. I took some wide open, available
light, photos of number 2 daughter on the weekend. I took the negs into the
darkroom last night and the look is simply astounding for a lens that is
almost 60 years old.

This lens is a copy of the Zeiss 85/2 which the Soviets also copied after
WWII. I paid $140 US for it. This is more than you would pay for the same
formula lens in a Jupiter but much cheaper than the original Zeiss. (I also
believe that I got a really good deal on it).

Regards,

Greg
