Some of the problem may be in my metering, as the 28mm frame gets a lot of sky in it, which tends to darken my non-sky portion of the photo. As a result, I've stopped using 28 or wider lenses on autoexposure bodies. And you won't believe it, but wide open, with a sharp object in the close foreground, the background is beautifully rendered with a tiny bokeh (as with all Color Skopars btw). Sorry, Slobodan, mine is not sitting around but mostly mounted on a M6 and along with me. Get one at Cameraquest, as the used ones on the bay sell for about the same price. If you use filters, take care to get the rare slim 39mm versions of B&W, Heliopan or Hoya, otherwise you might have vignetting problems.
