[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]to elaborate on what i meant, the actual image on the emulsion is redirected from the lens by a mirror. the film pack lays flat on the bottom of the camera, so the lens axis is not perpendicular to the film plane, but rather nearly parallel (not exactly as i seem to recall the facia of the camera canted slightly downwards). in a "normal" SLR, the lens axis would be perpendicular to the film plane. i think "folded optics" is meant to convey that the actual image recording light path is "folded" rather than merely the viewing light path. -rei On Feb14 10:57, SonC@aol.com wrote: > > In a message dated 2/14/2006 9:46:58 A.M.
