They will indeed. They submit a weekly PAW, though their are specific 
requirwments for these PAWs, they read and write about a couple books, the 
have four exercises in addition to the PAWs, and they do a documentary 
project. As to going on, one student from that first class now shoots for 
SIPA in New England, and has been my TA for three classes. Another student 
is just now starting to do some professional work, and a third was, when 
last I heard, looking for assisting work in NYC. But all that said, these 
are engineering majors, computer scientists, bio majors, pre-meds, and, 
yes, rocket scientists. They are not journalism majors, or art or photo 
students. My course is just one of the humanities electives available to 
them.
