Didier - If it was just parallax, the lens would have seen *more* of 
the lower part of the telescope than the finder (because it's lower). 
Another possibility, if the field of view isn't wider, is an axial 
misalignment. The finder pointed down with respect to the lens (the 
lens pointed up with respect to the finder) could also explain it.
