Subject: [Leica] VC Meter II

Back in the 1960's, futzing with a handheld selenium meter didn't bother me
at all (I was just so happy that I could change focus, shutter speed, and
aperture). But then I wasn't trying to capture any decisive moments. I've
gotten so that I'm fairly quick with the VC meters. And I don't need
something around my neck or in a pocket.

Now, if Cosina would just make a nice, tiny spot meter maybe the size of a
pack of chewing gum, that would be fine.

I do not care for the transfer reading or turn the dials to light the
diode style of meters. I like the instant useable read outs of other
meters. I carry a Minolta IVF. I hit the button and bingo I am ready
to go. No need to twiddle dials to get the lights lit properly. Not a
criticism of the VC meter just of me I guess.
