Kebab is also sold here by the Greek restaurants and TAs but the call it Giros (comes from the rotating upright spit they grill it on) As to the legendary Bratwurst/Currywurst - you can still get them most anywhere, in fact the ex-chancellor Schr?der was a great fan of Currywurst, that's a Bratwurst with a spicy curry/tomato sauce. In the seventies, when Gerd (Gerhard) was still a young socialist, we used to eat "Currywurst und Pommes" and drink lots (too much) of Herrenh?user beer with him in a Kneipe called Pl?mecke in Hannover, this is where he developed his taste for these monster sausages (about a foot or so in length). cheers Douglas SonC@aol.com wrote: > > >In a message dated 1/4/2006 10:55:46 A.M.
