Saludos cordiales, Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org]En nombre de Don Dory Enviado el: domingo, 09 de octubre de 2005 14:45 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: [Leica] Don's PAW more water Friday I took advantage of a rainy gray day to visit Cochran Shoals, this is a part of the Chattahoochee National Forest which is a fairly large park running along the river of the same name. Cochran Shoals is usually very hard to shoot due to the extreme contrast usually found, but on a gray day possibilities abound. I spent most of my time near the ruins of the Sibley Mill which was destroyed during the Civil War. First up is an establishing shot of the semi-restored ruins: http://gallery.leica-users.org/album255/Cochranmillruins Next, is a small water fall just to the north of the first shot. http://gallery.leica-users.org/album255/classicwaterfall Third, the view just in front of the ruins of the main creek about where the old mill dam would have been: http://gallery.leica-users.org/album255/widerockshot Fourth, I can't resist shots of lone rocks in the water: http://gallery.leica-users.org/album255/lonerock Last, a somewhat enigmatic image. I shot it from above, but I find the perspective a little disturbing. I would like to know what others think. http://gallery.leica-users.org/album255/waterfallverticleII Enjoy your weekend, comment as desired, give what aid and thoughts you can to the victims of the earthquake near Kashmir.
