Meanwhile you've saved a ton of $$$$ at the front end. I did and just couldn't justify buying one now for big bucks, then to find out next year they're cheaper and much improved--and NOBODY wants last year's model. It's kind like buying the latest and greatest digital camera. The next model comes out before the ink is dry on the ads for the one you just bought. It's a real sickening feeling unless you are some kind of pro and use the hell outa it. I remember when we used to bemoan Detroit's planned obsolescence. The digital boys/ girls have set new records for that program. I for one am no going to get sucked up in it. 'Just my opinion. David Cochran <cochranpr@mac.com> wrote: Hi to all. I am in the dark when it comes to scanners for negatives or chrome. Which is better, flatbed or dedicated negative scanners? thanks in advance.
