In his last paragraph, he expresses his regret that the style of photography epitomized by small cameras and fast film recording life in brief, brilliant moments was passing by. Those on the Street Photoraphy list sponsered by the Deadman might disagree however. Last, Bill does mention that all those billions of snapshots taken might be far more important to future understanding of a society than a fabulous street photo.
